A Final Year Undergraduate Course in IC Design for Non-Specialists

In designing this course in IC design for non-specialists the authors have found through several years of experience that a successful educational outcome can be achieved by motivating the students through a tutored programme of design assignments supported by specific CAD tools selected to provide point solutions for the tasks set. The success is judged on competence, understanding and achievement in a significant design task set as the final assignment.
