During troubleshooting to an equipment, when the characteristics of the signal in a testing point is quite clear, such as trigger pulse, scanning signal, wave gate signal etc. The abnormal information is reflected by various distortions to the waveform. The determination whether the spot signal is performing well or not is easily to make by inspecting the typical parameters of these signals and comparing the results with the normal values. Thus in an automatic fault diagnose system, to recognize signal waveform automatically is the most important process in troubleshooting. This paper primarily introduced a method of waveform recognition based on computer correlate examination.
