Automatic defect inspection in microdisplay production

摘要

To ensure the quality of microdisplays in mass production, an automatic defect inspection system is required. This paper presents a machine vision solution to inspect both functional and cosmetic defects of microdisplays. The requirements and the system design will be discussed. Some issues arise from the use of the inspection systems are also addressed.
