To enrich knowledge on the growth dynamics of commercial forest species in the Congo Basin, a study was conducted in Cameroon, within a community forest in savannah forest transition zone (Zone 1) and within FMU 10 052 in dense semi-deciduous humid forest (Zone 2). It aimed to obtain, in 8 species, the height (H) of the tree from its diameter (D) more accessible: Entandophragma cylindricum (Meliacea), Eribroma oblongum, Sterculia rhinopetala et Triplochiton scleroxylon (Malvaceae);Erythrophleum suaveolens et Piptadeniastrum africanum (Fabaceae), Milicia excelsa (Moraceae) et Terminalia superba (Combretaceae). The destructive method was used. After felling and flushing out a tree, the dendrometric parameters were measured and/or calculated. In Zone 1, 6 species including T. scleroxylon were calibrated using 30 trees of each. In Zone 2, 45 trees of E. cylindricum, 99 of E. suaveolens and 82 of T. scleroxylon constituted the sample. At the 5% threshold (95% confidence interval), the height-diameter relationship is a linear model. In all species, the height of a tree is predicted by measuring its diameter through linear regression. In Zone 1 regression equation is: H(m) = 28.13 + 19.09 * D(m) for T. scleroxylon;H(m) = 12.35 + 30.38 * D(m) for S. rhinopetala;H(m) = 23.09 + 26.42 * D(m) for E. oblongum; H(m) = 14.86 + 20.92 * D(m) for P. africanum;H(m) = 14.98 + 24.78 * D(m) for T. superba and H(m) = 1.55 + 32.37 * D(m) for M. excelsa. In Zone 2, the relationship is: H(m) = 27.40 + 14.21 * D(m) for T. scleroxylon;H(m) = 7.79 + 20.18 * D(m) for E. cylindricum and H(m) = 20.08 + 9.74 * D(m) for E. suaveolens (probability associated with F < 0.0001). The influence of site parameters (biotic and abiotic) on the height-diameter relationship should be more studied in multilayers forests specifically in the Congo Basin.

DEAR EDITOR,Cognitive flexibility is crucial for animal survival but is frequently impaired in neuropsychiatric disorders.Although many brain structures and functional networks are involved in cognitive flexibility,the neural mechanisms underlying cooperation among specific functional networks remain unclear from a global perspective.In this study,[^(18)F]-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography(FDG-PET)was performed on 19 male tree shrews after four different visual discrimination tasks,including baseline,learning expert(LE),reversal naive(RN),and reversal expert(RE).

Hong Kong has a long history of applying masonry retaining walls to provide horizontal platforms and stabilize man-made slopes.Due to the sub-tropical climate,some masonry retaining walls are colonized by trees.Extreme weather,such as typhoons and heavy rains,may cause rupture or root failure of those trees,thus resulting in instability of the retaining walls.A monitoring and warning system for the movement of masonry retaining walls and sway of trees has been designed with the application of fiber Bragg grating(FBG)sensing technology.The monitoring system is also equipped with a solar power system and 4G data transmission devices.The key functions of the proposed monitoring system include remote sensing and data access,early warning,and real-time data visualization.The setups and working principles of the monitoring systems and related transducers are introduced.The feasibility,accuracy,serviceability and reliability of this monitoring system have been checked by in-site calibration tests and four-month monitoring.Besides,a two-level interface has been developed for data visualization.The monitoring results show that the monitored masonry retaining wall had a reversible movement up to 2.5 mm during the monitoring period.Besides,it is found that the locations of the maximum strain on trees depend on the crown spread of trees.

The tree shrew,thought to be part of Scandentia,falls in between the rodents and the non-human primates.As a new type of experimental animal,the physiological,biochemical,anatomical structure and genomic properties of tree shrew are closer to non-human primates than rodents.In addition,the tree shrew brain is more developed and has been used in the study of nervous system related diseases,such as cerebral ischemia,spinal cord injury,visual system and dementia.

摘要:
Given any infinite tree in the plane satisfying certain topological conditions,we construct an entire function f with only two critical values±1 and no asymptotic values such that f-1([-1,1])is ambiently homeomorphic to the given tree.This can be viewed as a generalization of the result of Grothendieck(see Schneps(1994))to the case of infinite trees.Moreover,a similar idea leads to a new proof of the result of Nevanlinna(1932)and Elfving(1934).

本发明提供了一种基于MIDS‑Tree的服务故障高响应匹配方法。对多元融合数据集进行选取和去噪;进行面向特定服务故障和降级类型的标签处理,得到多元数据集;对数据集进行故障类型分类,形成多元微服务故障数据集;通过Apriori方法进行面向多类型服务故障的特征和属性提取;根据提取后的特征属性进行特征属性敏感度计算,得出最优特征属性并进行态势分析,得出服务故障特征属性的波动范围;根据态势分析以及服务故障类型信息,进行MIDS‑Tree的建立,并进行服务故障的预测,使得服务的资源利用率最大化。本发明提出的轻量级架构模型,为解决已有服务故障预测方法,存在的模型庞杂、冗余;同时该模型能够快速高响应的进行面向服务故障策略匹配,提高现有模型的响应时间。
