PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice growing system, a rice growing method and rice which can secure a predetermined yield and suppress the increase in size. SOLUTION: A rice growing system has a shelf having a plurality of shelves arranged one above the other, a storage box having an opening, and being placed on the shelf board with the opening facing upward to store nutrient solution. It has a hole for storing paddy, is arranged in the storage box, has a growth pallet that floats on the nutrient solution, and has a dimension between the upper and lower sides of adjacent shelf boards of 20 cm to 40 cm. Preferably, the rice growing system comprises a disinfection chamber for disinfecting the paddy using acetic acid. [Selection diagram] Fig. 2
