Compositions and methods for dry electrode films comprising elastomeric binders

Provided herein are dry process electrode films comprising an elastomeric binder, and energy storage devices comprising the same. In some embodiments, the dry process electrode film is PTFE-free or comprises a negligible amount of PTFE. The electrode film exhibits improved mechanical and processing properties. Also provided are methods of processing such elastomeric binders and incorporating such elastomeric binders into electrode films.
