The object of the present invention is to provide a coating agent capable of applying a simple coating method such as a spray method to an article and forming a scratch resistant coating film in a relatively short time without curing.The present invention provides a coating agent containing a thermoplastic resin, an acrylic silicone compound, and a solvent.Further, a coating film formed from the coating agent, an article containing a coating film, and a method of preventing scratches of an article using a coating film are provided.
