Moreover, in C57BL/6 mice with dexamethasone-induced muscle loss, oral administration of GTE (2000 mg/kg) improved the running time and grip strength on the treadmill, thereby restoring the dexamethasone-induced muscle function loss to some extent. GTE also protected the reduction of muscle weight and muscle fiber size of the tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius muscles.
