Novel foldable roof tent, characterized in that it comprises a first seat (4) and an upper cover (2), a lifting mechanism (3) being arranged between the first seat (4) and the upper cover (2), which is used to to unfold or collapse the upper cover (2) on the first seat (4), and wherein the upper cover (2) and the first seat (4) enclose an apex angle with one another when the upper cover (2) and the first seat (4) are apart to be unfolded; and wherein a second seat (5) is articulated to the first seat (4) and can be unfolded or folded up on the first seat (4), and wherein between the top cover (2) and the first seat (4) or the second seat (5) a tent fabric (1) is arranged, and wherein a side surface of the first seat (4) has a first boundary wall (41) and a side surface of the second seat (5) has a second boundary wall (51), and wherein the the first delimitation wall (41) rests against the second delimitation wall (51) when the second seat (5) is unfolded on the first seat (4); and wherein a support frame (6) is articulated to the first seat (4) and can be folded or unfolded on the first seat (4), and wherein a delimiting element is detachable between the second seat (5) and the support frame (6) is arranged, and wherein, when the second seat (5) and the support frame (6) are respectively deployed on the first seat (4), the delimiting element can fix the second seat (5) and the support frame (6) together, and wherein the support frame (6) and the second seat (5) enclose an apex angle with one another.
