This vehicle-mounted wiring system is provided with multiple function units which are mounted on the vehicle, an optical transmission path which is wired between the function units and which transmits optical signals of the function units, an electric wire harness which, in a partial segment of the optical transmission path, is provided together with the optical transmission path in a state integrated with the optical transmission path, and an optical coupler which is arranged on the optical transmission path outside of said segment and which configures part of the optical transmission path.
