A POCT blood cell analyzer (10) and a detection method. The POCT blood cell analyzer (10) comprises a housing (11), a detection base (200), a pipettor (300), and a movement mechanism (400); the detection base (200) is provided in the housing (11) and used for receiving a reagent kit; the detection base (200) is provided with several impedance detection assemblies (210) and/or several optical detection assemblies (220); each impedance detection assembly (210) comprises an electrode conductive device (211); the reagent kit is provided with a detection device (123); when the reagent kit is placed into the detection base (200), the electrode conductive device (211) is in electrical contact with the detection device (123); each optical detection assembly (220) comprises a light emitting component and a light receiving component that are arranged at an interval; the pipettor (300) is provided in the housing (11) and used for performing a pipetting operation on the reagent kit; and the movement mechanism (400) is provided in the housing (11) and used for moving the pipettor (300) with respect to the detection base (200) so as to support the pipetting operation. By means of the cooperation of the movement mechanism (400) and the pipettor (300), a blood sample can be automatically distributed and a reagent can be automatically added; the detection base (200) is provided with several impedance detection assemblies (210) and/or several optical detection assemblies (220), thereby increasing the items that can be detected, and optimizing the POCT detection efficiency.
