The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an organic insulator thin film and an organic thin film transistor at a low temperature using a soluble polyimide, comprising the steps of: preparing a solution containing a soluble polyimide; and forming an organic insulator thin film by applying the solution on a substrate and then drying the organic insulator thin film.
