Collision protection device for a robot equipped with an imaging main axis (17) having a first main body (5) and a second main body designed to be coupled with an end-effector (4) of the robot (2)where the second main body (6) in respect of the first main body (5) is extensively pre-tensioned to a base position by means of springs (13) equipped with pre-tensioners (12), from which, due to a trigger force and/or torque effect on it (FA) against a preload force (FV) of the preloading agents (12) within a displacement movement (16) resulting from a single or combined movement from a group of movements, a linear movement (62) in the axis direction of the main axis (17),a rotational motion (63) around the main axis (17) and a tilting motion (64) around an imaginary cross-section running across the main axis (17), with the displacement motions (16) accompanied by a tension of the spring agent (13), thereby characterized, that the pre-tensioners (12) in addition to the spring detergents (13) have a pressure suppressant (14) which produces a pressure equivalent to the direction of action of the spring detergent (33)and associated with a release device (15), which can cause the pressure to be lifted at any displacement movement (16) of the second main body (5).
