The present invention relates to a method for hydrogenation of phthalate compounds. Specifically, in one embodiment of the present invention, the average temperature and the maximum-minimum temperature deviation in the reactor during the hydrogenation reaction of the phthalate compound are adjusted to satisfy a specific range, respectively, so that the aromaticity is controlled to 2.5 to 5.5%. It provides a method of obtaining a hydrogenated reaction product.
