Alloys.-Soft gold alloys containing not less than 70 per cent of gold contain also iron, cobalt, or nickel, or two or three of these metals, with or without platinum, palladium, and copper. The alloys may be formed by adding to gold an alloy containing platinum or palladium or both, one or more metals of the nickel group, and copper.
