Vaporizing-apparatus.-In a vapour lamp or stove, the entry of the fuel into the vaporizer is delayed until the vaporizer is sufficiently preheated, by arranging a continuous tortuous or circuitous fuel passageway between the vaporizer and the reservoir. In the form shown, the fuel passes through a pipe 9 coiled on, and then through a pipe 10 arranged inside, a lamp support 6, on its way to the passage 3 and vaporizer 5. In modifications, the passageway is formed by a sinuous or doubly coiled pipe.
