137,976. Allen, A. H. April 24, 1919. Mechanical toys.-A dancing figure is actuated by a spring-mounted platform the rear end of which is oscillated by tapping it with the fingers. A base b carries a spring c on which the platform a is mounted. The platform is fitted with a rear projection which the operator, whose hand is concealed by a screen e, taps to cause it to oscillate and thus actuate the jointed limbs of a figure m. The screen fits in grooves g in the base and is provided with slots k to receive a wire hook on which the figure is suspended.
