Cutting slices in succession; holders and boards.-In meat-slicing machines of the kind wherein the reciprocating movements of the meat-supporting table are imparted by hand, means are provided for feeding the meat forward as the table is reciprocated. A meat-grip or clamp 1 with a boss 2 turns on and slides along an horizontal rod 3 carried by the table 4. It is provided with prongs 5 to hold the meat, and a handle 6. An end device for holding the meat when only a thin end or piece is left comprises a plate 7, with hooks 8 to hold the meat, which is attached to the bar 1 by projecting pins 9 on the back fitting into corresponding holes 10 on the bar. The end device may be supported by a foot or roller 11.
