[Class 16.] A manifolding-unit comprises a triplicate sheet 3 separated from a stub portion 7 by a line 8 of perforations or scoring, and an original sheet t 4 integral therewith and folded i n parallel relation thereto, a transparent duplicate sheet 5 and a carbon sheet 6 carbonized on both sides being secured at or adjacent to the fold in the integral sheets 3, 4 so that the original sheet 4 lies over the transparent sheet 5 and the carbon sheet 6 lies between the latter sheet and the triplicate sheet 3. A book containing a series of units consists of a back 1 and a cover 2 which servos as a " stop " sheet. The transparent and carbon sheets 5, 6 are preferably integral and may be attached to the sheet 4, either adjacent to the fold of the latter, or to the upper free edge. If desired, all the sheets 3 .. 6 may be integral and folded.
