[Class 6 (ii).] A lawn-mower of the rotary-cutter type, in which the supporting-roller A is placed between the rotarv cutter B and the back roller D, has the grass-box E placed behind the cutter B and a deflecting-plate F inserted between the cutter and the front of the box to bridge the space between. The roller A is mounted in slotted brackets a which are vertically adjustable on bolts a1 and the cutter B is driven by chains from the roller D. The box E has lugs e engaging the side frames and may also have hooks engaging the handle shafts.
