[Class 132 (iii)] A toy has resiliently flexible legs formed by helical or leaf springs or made of rubber with a foot or shoe piece the under surface of which, from front to rear, is convex or includes at least one convex part so that, when the toy is pulled along, it appears to walk or run. As shown, the body is formed by a rectangular piece 1 of wood or the like with a head 2. Helical springs 3 are secured in sockets drilled one in each corner of the rectangle and a foot 4 is attached to each spring. The undersides of the feet may be circular and convex or may be elongated with convex ends. Suitable dimensions for a typical toy are specified. As the toy is pulled along, the legs are deflected rearwardly until their resilience overcomes the friction between the feet and the floor, whereupon the legs flick forwards.
