The laminates are of a high filler content polymer film bound on its reverse side to a filler layer pref. of felt or polyurethane foam and then moulded by vacuum forming. They are used esp. as sound-proofing for vehicles and can be produced in varied shapes and finishes. The polymer film of EPDM, PVC, SBR or EVA contains 300-1200 parts filler/100 parts polymer.
