The first digit is applied through a store to a converter which converts it into a binary value for the counter setting and the number of pulses in the second digit is added to the converted value of the first. This value stored in the counter is retransmitted through the store to an output decoder for setting following switching means, and digits transmitted from the store to the converter can be converted by simple linking of its decoder with its coder. The output decoder converts the binary values into decimal values and different timing frequencies control signal retransmission and interrogation within the evaluation devices.
