Washing machine for glass tumblers, for restaurants and cafes, has a capacity of at least 500 glasses/hr., and is smaller and simpler than existing machines. It is set on a washbasin which acts as the liquid reservoir, and has a grid set over a spray trough, to move the glasses through a tunnel with spray nozzles. The grid is connected to a revolving cam by a rod so that a movable part executes a combination of horizontal and vertical motions, to forward the glasses through the tunnel. The connecting rod consists of a frame with connectors and linkages connected to the motor-driven cam. The motor gives the grid a horizontal motion via a crank drive.
