Exhaust gas purifier for IC engines - has compressor for delivering combustion air to purifier heat exchanger

The exhaust gas purifier is used especially in motor vehicles. The power of the engine is maintained at its highest level while reducing toxic substances below the required level. The air is drawn into the engine system through an air filter from which air is supplied to the carburettor and the heat exchanger. A compressor and air flow regulator are connected to the pipes connecting the filter to the heat exchanger. The engine exhaust is connected to the heat exchanger primary side and nitrogen oxides are decomposed within the heat exchanger header chamber into which air is pumped by the compressor. The exhaust gas and air mixture flows subsequently into the exchanger secondary side through a connecting pipe and from there to the exhaust pipe for disposal. Surface combustion of exhaust gases takes place with the secondary side and exhaust gases are completely burned.
