The container is open at the top for taking the balls, out. At the bottom is an opening (14) which can be rectangular, with its sides slightly smaller than a ball diameter and a small tapered lead into the container. The ball is picked up by placing container on top of it and exerting slight pressure on the handle so that with a slight deformation the ball is forced into the container. To save damaging the balls, the sides of the opening may be rotating rollers. The container can also be shaped as a tube and should be tall enough so that one need not bend and may have an arrangement to stand unsupported on the ground to act as a ball storage.
