Saddle piece mould for intersecting ceramic tubes - has split halves with inner profile for saddle piece moulding

The pressing mould for making saddle pieces for stoneware pipes uses moist ceramic material and it is fitted on the pressing head of an extrusion press. The pressing mould has an external shell (1) with a coaxial cylindrical core (4). The outside shell (1) has an internal groove (6) for moulding the fastening web of the saddle piece. This shell is split into two halves longitudinally. The internal groove is a penetration curve of two cylinders with intersecting longitudinal axes. One cylinder is formed by the inner surface of the external shell and the other cylinder has the diameter of the tube for which the saddle piece is designed.
