A liq. stabiliser mixt. esp. for PVC, comprises (1) aliphatic or branched (un)satd. monocarboxylic acid salts, aliphatic substd. aromatic monocarboxylic acid salts and/or aliphatic substd. phenolic salts and cations of Zn, Ca and R2SN (IV) (where R is 1-12C alkyl or benzyl), the metal concn. in the stabiliser mixt. being 0.1-2.0 wt. % Zn, 0.5-3.0 wt. % Ca and 1-5.4-5 wt. % Sn and (2) a liq. org. phosphite. The mixt. stabilises PVC (co)polymers, esp. mass or suspension polymsd., plasticised PVC against light and heat. The mixt. is easily workable and does not generate volatile toxic substances.
