A quasi-analogue indicator device consits of an array of illuminable light emitting cells. These may be used to display two parameters by selective illumination, a first group of cells representing one parameter (x) with the boundary cell (1) indicating its magnitude and a second group representing the other parameter (y), the boundary cell likewise indicating the magnitude. The device may be provided with a reference scale (0 - 100) and the illiminated cells may be made to flash. The parameters are chosen so that xy and the distance between the two illuminated edge cells (1, 2) then indicates the difference between the two parameters.
