A sensing device for the accurate determination of the location of conductive dots on an insulating substrate (32) consisting of a base plate (40) and a plurality of flexible flat, elongated leaf spring elements (42) having end portions for contacting and producing an electrically conductive connection with the electrically conducting points (37) on the surface of the substrate and an insulation between the individual leaf spring members and with a clamping device, by which the leaf spring elements (42) are held so curved that the end portions are parallel to the plane of the top of the insulating substrate in a plane.
