The plastics clamp is used for the union of pipes, hoses or cables to a fixture base. Between a fastening plate (34) and the clamp base (14), is a distance piece or base (50) of chemically resistant material, and locked to plate and clamp base. The fastening plate with the exception of the surface locating on the fixture base surface (62) is covered outwardly, and along its edge run ribs (70) which fit into the overflow collar (48) of the clamp base.
