The tracked, ship-unloader is for continuously unloading items such as sacks, hales etc. at a dockside. At the water side end of a horizontal boom (1) is a vertical conveyor (2) which has two opposite belt conveyors, which enclose the items to be conveyed, are driven and held apart by means of springs or counter-weights. The boom can move transversely on the unloader, as well as being raised or lowered. One belt conveyor has a horizontal, loading telescopic arm section at the bottom, above an arc section. The second belt conveyor (5) has an opposite arc section at the bottom with a top guide curve section at the top. A curved conveyor with a delivery point at its bottom is fitted below the guide section.
