ELECTRON GUN SUPPORTING STRUCTURE FOR IMAGE PICK-UP TUBE

PURPOSE:To considerably improve the supporting strength of an electron gun by holding at least a portion of stem lead and an electron on a supporter having L- shaped cross-section. CONSTITUTION:One end of a supporting member 5 made of a metal plate having L-shaped cross-section is secured to the first grid 21 through welding while the other end is welded to a stem lead 34. Consequently the supporting strength of the electron gun is considerably improved and the movement of the electron gun due to the external shock of the image pick-up tube can be reduced.
