The device comprises three conical re-edging rollers (1) made of a very hard material, the vertices 0 of whose axes are outermost, that is near where the tip to be re-edged will be positioned. This makes it possible to increase the cavity housing the rollers and to make the rollers larger than if their axes were divergent and to apply a great force to the tip to be re-edged, which may be of a very hard material, for example stainless steel. The rollers press on a revolving disc (6) or on a conical tip (9') belonging to a non-revolving rod (9) which is pressed axially by a spring (10).
