The seat (1) has a part pivoted relative to a thrust surface on a horizontal axis (3). Two rams (8,9) are placed either side of the axis between the seat and the thrust surface. The rams are connected to a fluid pressure circuit by a valve. The valve is operated by a lever (8) and closes the fluid circuit to isolate the two ram cylinders or opens the connection to both. The valve can be a two position one to feed either cylinder. Both rams press on the seat by rolling balls (6).
