Transfer table for glass or fragile objects - has number of pads with felt tops to support glass lowered from forks between pads

The transfer table has a rigid base (1) which can be mounted on castors (5). The table top is fitted with a number of independent pads (2). The pads are spaced so that the arms (3) may fit between them. The top of each pad is fitted with a felt or rubber covering (4). The glass objects are supplied by means of a conveyor to the arms (3) which are inserted between the pads and lowered before withdrawal leaving the glass on the pads.
