A mixer (1) having a vertical mixing container (2) and mixer implements (14) rotatingly arranged therein mixes a fine and dry product which is supplied by the top and discharged by the bottom through a product discharge outlet (9). Between said outlet radially offset inwardly and arranged in the bottom of the container (2d) opposite the peripheral wall (2b") of the container and the peripheral wall of the container there is provided an annular bottom surface (11) on which a partial filling volume of fine product is first introduced during a first mixing step by means of the centrifugal force from bottom to top and radially from the outside towards the inside up to the ring circle area (21) wherein the product discharge outlet is arranged, before an additional supply of fine product causes the continuous discharge through the product discharge outlet (9) of an adjustable quantity of mixed fine product corresponding approximately to the additional supply quantity.
