PURPOSE:To control surely the discharge of a molten metal by using a porous refractory part to form part of a molten metal passage hole and eliminating a joint part which is liable to be eroded and has an easy tendency to the hindrance of sliding between a body part and the porous refractory part. CONSTITUTION:This molten metal discharging device consists of a stationary board 2 for discharging the molten metal and a sliding board 3 for opening and closing a molten metal passage hole 8 by contacting slidingly with the bottom surface thereof and is attached to the bottom of a vessel for the molten metal. The board 2 consists of the body part 7 made of the compact refractories and the porous refractory part 9 forming part of the circumferential wall of the hole 8. The body part 7 has the gas supply hole consisting of a hole 11 and an annular chamber 10 to introduce the gas to the molten metal passage hole.
