Abstract of the DisclosureA two-way rupturable pressure relief apparatus adaptedto be clamped between a pair of connection members con-necting first and second pressure zones is provided. Theapparatus is comprised of a rupture member including aplurality of openings therein, a support member includingone or more arcuate slots defining a circular blowout por-tion and a hinge portion connected to the blowout portiontherein positioned adjacent the rupture member and aflexible sealing member positioned adjacent the side of thesupport member opposite the rupture member. The sealingmember is adhered to the support member whereby during theoperation of the apparatus, the support member and thesealing member function as a single part and the sealingmember is prevented from flexing except in the areas of theone or more arcuate slots in the support member.-22-
