In order to design a ventilation window, arranged in an inclined manner on a building facade, with simple means in a more thermally insulating and watertight manner than previously, the building facade consisting of supports arranged at a spacing next to one another and of glass panes which are in each case held on two adjacent supports, and the ventilation window comprising a window frame, which is held on two adjacent supports as well as connected to these and in a tightly sealing manner to the glass panes adjoining above and below, and a window leaf articulated on the frame, the following features are proposed: a) the window frame (8) is screened on the inside with a second frame (11) which is arranged at a spacing to the latter and only connected to it via insulating bodies (12), b) the window frame (8) has on the outside a circumferential water guide channel (20) with water inlet and water outlet openings (21 and 22 respectively) and c) the ventilation window (5) is arranged in a heat-insulating manner relative to the supports (3) and the edge parts of the glass panes (6, 7) situated above and below the ventilation window (5) are clamped in in a tightly sealing manner between the water guide channel (20) and the second frame (11).
