PURPOSE:To weld the bundled part of a package with sufficient pressure resistant strength only by a welding means without providing a wire clip, by bundling both end parts of a cylindrical casing film packed with an object to be packed and welding the casing film at each bundled part along with a reinforcing film. CONSTITUTION:In a welding unit 30 reciprocally operating up and down, bundling plates 31, 32 are driven at first in mutually approaching directions on both sides of a cylindrical casing film 1 packed with an object to be packed and intermittently drawn into a flat shape and the part 1a drawn into the flat shape is throttled by the bundling grooves 31b, 32b meshing with each other of the bundling plates 31, 32 to be bundled. Thereafter, an anvil 33 and an ultrasonic horn 34 advance, and the film tape 5 and the bundled part 1b of the film 1 supplied between both of them are together grasped to be subjected to ultrasonic welding. In the package thus prepared, the bundled parts 1b at both ends of the film 1 are welded along with a reinforcing film 50.
