PURPOSE:To enable propagation of seeds and seedlings in a large amount with excellent production efficiency by carrying out tissue culture of specific parts of a plant belonging to the genus Rosa under specific culture conditions. CONSTITUTION:Separated lateral buds or teasel pieces containing the lateral buds of a plant belonging to the genus Rosa are cultured in a liquid culture medium containing cytokinin (preferably benzyladenine in 10-8-10-6M/l concentration thereof) with aeration.
