PURPOSE:To provide a forming and baking apparatus having a female pan member and a male mold member, etc., and capable of forming and baking a pasty food such as fish meat to obtain a cup-shaped food having the form of a purse. CONSTITUTION:A heat source 26 is provided under a transfer mechanism 17 for intermittently transferring a female pan member 4 having a recess 6. A quantitative feeding mechanism 28 of a pasty food material is attached to the initial end of the transfer path of the transfer mechanism 17. An insertion mechanism 41 of a male member 5 is placed at the downstream of the feeding mechanism and a male member removing mechanism 42 is placed near the delivery end of the transfer path. The male ember 5 is pushed into the food material in the female pan member 4 to form the food material in the form of a cup. An inside-baking mechanism 52 to bake the inner surface of the cup-shaped material is placed at the downstream of the insertion mechanism. The objective apparatus is further provided with a male member transferring mechanism 43 and a mechanism to take off the cup-shaped formed material from the female pan member 4.
