PURPOSE:To improve baking characteristics and reproducibility by providing a flat part of high density and a gradient part continuing the flat part and gradually having low density in density distribution of As composing a layer in an electron gun side adjacent to a sensitizer layer, also adding oxide or fluoride to a lower part side. CONSTITUTION:A flat part of high density and a gradient part continuing the flat part and gradually having low density are provided in density distribution of arsenic (As) composing a layer in an electron gun side adjacent to a sensitizer layer 3, also oxide or fluoride is added to a lower part side. Consequently, density distribution of As is made to a trapezoid shape, unstableness of a peak part in a triangular shape of density distribution of As is eliminated, and heat resistance and saturation characteristics etc., are stabilized even small As quantity. This enables baking characteristics and reproducibility to be improved.
