a) High-speed addressing method and device, for independent holding and addressing of plasma display panels; b) method characterised in that it consists in: a. exciting the addressing and hold lines in order to illuminate the cells of pixels in a group of cells; b. applying an erase potential to an addressing cell (A) in order thus to bring about deposition of wall charges in a first coupling cell; c. then applying a potential of predetermined duration between the hold lines which intersect; d. then applying another erase potential to an addressing cell; e. then applying a potential of shorter duration than that of the potential of predetermined duration, between a pair of hold lines which intersect, in order to cause migration of the wall charges from one adjacent pixel cell to the different coupling cell; c) the invention relates to a high-speed addressing method and device, for independent holding and addressing of plasma display panels.
