TRANSMISSION LINE INTERPHASE SHORT CIRCUIT PREVENTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To effectively prevent an interphase short circuit by a light-weight member by rotating an insulation rope bridged over the periphery of insulation frames mounted at a predetermined interval at a transmission line to a predetermined angle to the line, and anchoring the end on the line. CONSTITUTION:Insulation frames 1 are formed of circular frames 2 integrated at abutting surfaces 8 of split halves 1a, 1b made of FRP resin having a light weight and high strength. The frame 2 has a semicircular hole 3 in which an electric wire (w) is inserted at the center and a wire mount 4, and radial ribs 5 and insertion rings 71-74 having insulation rope insertion holes 6 at the outer periphery. The wire (w) is held by the holes 3 of the halves 1a, 1b, an armor rod 10 is engaged on the periphery 9 of the mount 4, the end 11 is wound at the wire (w), and the frame 1 is mounted on the wire (w). Further, a strong insulation rope 12 is inserted to the holes 6 of the rings 71-74, and secured with a clamp 13 mounted at both ends 12a on the wire (w).
