PURPOSE:To embody a straight joint by straightening bends at the tip and rear end of a bar material when the bar materials are joined and continuously rolled in a continuous hot sheet rolling equipment. CONSTITUTION:A tip bend straightening device 3, crop shear 4 and joining machine 6 are arranged in that order between a roughing mill 1 and a finishing mill line 6. The amount of bend at the tip of rolled stock is detected with a bend detector 2 and bend straightening corresponding to the amount of bend is executed with tip bend straightening device 3 by plane bending system.
