A tire pressure controller (13) includes a pressure switch fixed radially with respect to the wheel axle on the circumference of the rim (12) of the wheels of a vehicle. The pressure switch comprises a reference pressure chamber (20) closed on the side of the tire by an electrically conductive membrane (21). To close the circuit, the membrane (21) is compressed, when the pressure in the tire is sufficient, against a contact plug (22) arranged in isolation in the reference pressure chamber (20). In order to obtain an increase in the precise switching threshold varying with speed, the membrane (21), free on the side of the tire, is provided with a complementary elastic mass (30) spread over one side of the membrane and the module of which elasticity is less than one tenth of the elastic modulus of the membrane (21).
