REMOVING METHOD FOR AWN AND BRANCHED STALK OF SEED RICE

PURPOSE: To minimize the generation of husked paddy and to enable both raising seedlings free from a miss-planted point and rice transplantation free from additional planting by sorting seed rice, removing and treating only paddy stuck with an awn and a branched stalk and intactly recovering good seed rice. ;CONSTITUTION: Seed rice introduced into a hopper 3 continuously flows down from an aperture 4, in a curtain shape. A barnyard grass and dust mixed with speed rice are blown off by a fan 6 an flow down on a sorting plate 10. Husked paddy is sorted through many sorting holes 11 and held in a vessel 12 of husked paddy. Successively paddy stuck with an awn and a branched stalk is not housed in the recessed part 15, 36 on the surfaces of a sorting roll 14 and a conveyor 35 and discharged into a recovery case 17 by brush 16. Good seed rice in recessed part 15, 36 is recovered in a recovery vessel 20 via a chute 19. Paddy stuck with the awn and the branched stalk flows down from the discharge port 22 of a transfer body 21 and is pinched and induced in the gap H between a stationary interaction board 25 and a turning interaction board 28 from a receiving cylinder 23 by centrifugal force of the turning interaction board 28. The awn and the branched stalk are removed and resorting is performed. Both sowing efficiency and raising seedlings efficiency free from additional planting are enhanced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
