Describes an immortal human cell line stably expressing a multiplicity of cytochromes P450. The cell line is preferably MCL-5, it stably expresses cytochrome P450 IA1, IA2, IIA3, IIIA4 and IIE1 and a microsomal epoxide hydrolase. The cell line is useful for mutagenicity, toxicity and metabolism.
